On July 27, 2015, Sage will continue the move away from the mainstream ERP category to convey our shift to more “user-centric” business management solutions by officially changing the product names of Sage 100 ERP and Sage 300 ERP to Sage 100 and Sage 300. From this date forward all “ERP” references will be removed from these product names, as was previously announced with Sage ERP X3.
What should you do between now and July 27?
Due to the amount of product documentation available, we fully expect both old and new names to coexist in the market over a period of time. To help accelerate the adoption of the new names, your involvement in communicating the change is critical during the transition.
The name changes apply to:
- All material used to represent the solution in the market.
- The customer community.
- The partner community.
Between now and July 27, we are requesting that business partners prepare for the change by taking an inventory of all the sales material that you are authoring (your company marketing collateral, presentations, website, and so forth.)
July 21 partner webcast: Sage 100 and 300 ERP name change
Please plan to attend a partner webcast to learn more about the name changes, when in-product changes will occur, and what Sage is doing to help you with the transition.
Tuesday, July 21, at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET (1 hour)
U.S./Canada toll free: 800-894-5910 • Int'l toll: 785-424-1052 • Code: 429701
It’s important to note that the name changes apply only to assets that will be used from July 27 onward, which does not include any material related to older releases of the product. Updated logos and corresponding marketing materials will be available on Sage Sell in the coming weeks.
You are notified of these upcoming changes under your nondisclosure agreement (NDA) with Sage so that you may plan for the name changes internally.
Note: At no time should the new names be communicated to customers or to the public before the official announcement from Sage on July 27.
