Expanded products: Introducing exciting annual subscription offerings for new Sage customers

In June, we introduced annual subscription offerings for new Sage 100 ERP and Sage 300 ERP customers, and we are continuing to see increased adoption of subscription pricing.

And now, effective August 1, 2015, we are excited to continue to expand this new annual subscription offering even further across the Sage product portfolio to include customers for Sage CRM and Sage ERP X3*. Also, please note that we intend to roll this approach out to additional products in the portfolio over the next few months.

This will be a win-win-win for customers, business partners, and Sage. Customers will have the ability to prepay subscription for either one year or three years with a preferential pricing incentive. We will no longer offer month-to-month subscriptions to these customers.

New and off-plan (N-3) customers will have the option to select from the following subscription offerings:

One-year subscription plan with annual up-front payment.

  • Pricing will be 12 months of the current monthly fee.
  • Partners will be paid 12 months of margin at the time of order.
  • Autorenews annually.

One-year subscription plan with monthly payments

  • Pricing will be approximately 10% higher than the current monthly fee.
  • Payment by direct debit only (ACH/EFT)—no credit cards with monthly payments.**
  • Customer receives one invoice with 12 collections by direct debit (ACH/EFT).
  • Partners will be paid 12 months of margin at the time of order.
  • Price protection for one-year term.
  • Autorenews annually.

**Credit cards will be accepted from Canadian customers.

Three-year subscription plan with up-front payment

  • As an incentive to customers, they will receive a discount equivalent to three months free on the initial subscription.
  • Partners will be paid three years of margin (one year at new license margins plus two years at 25% margin).
  • Partners will continue to receive tier credit for two years up front, based upon the existing tier program guidelines.
  • Autorenews triennially.

*Sage ERP X3 is only available as a one-year offering, paid up front.

All subscription plans will now autorenew, so partners will no longer need to secure renewals—and the annual option lengthens contracts.

The one-year and three-year prepayment options benefit customers, who will get automatic price protection built in due to the prepayment and discounted pricing on the three-year option!

Note: There will be no price changes for current subscription customers. Effective immediately, any new quotes must be at the new August 1 rates—and any existing quotes at the current monthly prices will be honored for 30 days (until August 31, 2015.)

Price list

The updated subscription pricing will be posted on Sage Sell no later than by July 13, 2015.
