Important update: Sage 100 and Sage 300 payroll customers now pay only for the employees for whom they process payroll.
On Monday, September 14, we sent an announcement regarding our transition to payroll tiering. We are making this change to align with the market that is moving toward usage-based pricing for payroll offerings. With this change, Sage customers will only pay for the range of employees they pay. U.S. customers will further benefit by paying once for their payroll updates with direct deposit bank fees included.
However, based upon valuable partner feedback requesting more time to fully understand all the details of the payroll tier changes prior to notification of customers, we are making the following adjustments to our rollout plan:
- Sage is pushing out the effective date of payroll tiering from November, 1, 2015, to December 1, 2015.
- Therefore, rather than notifying Sage Business Care customers of this change starting September 18, 2015, we will communicate this change starting the week of October 23 for those customers whose Sage Business Care plans are coming up for renewal in December.
We sincerely value and appreciate your feedback and support during this important transition for Sage customers—and invite you to join us for a partner webcast where we will share more details of the payroll tiering changes and clarify any questions you may have.
