Providing strategic value to Sage partners
As we head into the final weeks of the quarter, I want to highlight some of our recent initiatives and share the success we are experiencing.
Last month, we announced the general availability of our new mobile solutions: Sage Mobile Sales, Sage Mobile Service, and Sage Billing and Payment—giving businesses access to their business data anytime and anywhere. These new mobile solutions allow businesses to continue to innovate without disrupting the investments they have already made in their on-premises software. As we continue building our mobile line, we will look to expand mobile functionality across products and markets to further drive scale and volume. Be sure to check out the sales kits on Sage Sell that include essential information and assets you'll need to market and sell these solutions.
The Inspire Tour, powered by Sage, has given us a great opportunity to connect with customers, prospects, and partners. To date, we've visited nine cities in North America and hosted nearly 900 people with a 99% satisfaction rate. We still have nine events that will last through the end of May. I encourage you to visit SageInspireTour.com for event details and upcoming locations—and promote these remaining events to your customers and prospects.
In January, we offered Sage 100 and 300 ERP partners a free three-year internal-use subscription of Sage Billing and Payment to run your businesses, and we are going to extend the offer through April 30, 2014. So far, 75 partners have signed up! We are confident that when you experience the value and functionality of this solution you will want to recommend it to all of your customers, as well. To get your free subscription, please send a request with "Sage Billing and Payment" in the email subject line to [email protected].
On a more personal note, I am honored and humbled to have been recognized in the media as a spokesperson for Sage, having recently been named as one of the 50 most influential channel chiefs of 2014 by CRN. This accolade is a reflection of my entire team’s continued focus on delivering solutions and innovative partner programs to create more opportunities and success for our partners.
To build on that effort, Donald Deshaies has joined the team as vice president of channel management. With over 20 years of experience in the technology space comprising ERP and CRM, as well as cloud and on-premises software and services, Donald's knowledge and expertise will lead the Sage channel organization and support the Sage brand experience for partners and customers. He will be responsible for continuing the organization's growth strategy to strengthen the Sage channel, working with partners to create lasting innovation through its product portfolio and programs. I am confident about the potential that Donald brings to our team and the new opportunities that he'll soon introduce to Sage partners.
Sage partners are a very important part of our strategy for success, so it is essential to get your feedback on our current programs and resources. If you’ve not already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the following brief partner survey by Monday, March 17, 2014.
Your input will assist us in improving the programs we provide to help you grow your business with Sage. We sincerely appreciate your investment of time in this important process.
This is a great time to be connected with Sage, and partners who are invested with us are in a favorable position with lots of exciting prospects ahead! Focusing on creating tighter synergies and working as a team, we're looking forward to working more closely with you to provide strategic value that will enable our mutual businesses for success.
Good selling as we close out the first half of the fiscal year. If there is anything we can do to help you finalize deals, please reach out and let us know.
Warmest regards,
Joe Langner
