Sage North America announces intent to acquire PayChoice
As we continue on our strategic journey to be recognized as the most valuable supporter of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), we at Sage North America are excited to announce our intent to acquire PayChoice, a leading provider of payroll solutions for SMBs.
This acquisition helps Sage create greater value and peace of mind for SMBs by extending the company’s portfolio of offerings to now provide easy-to-use payroll solutions with integrated services. In addition to strengthening our market position in the large and growing payroll service market, we view this transaction as an opportunity to enhance the Sage customer experience and advance our Sage brand in North America.
PayChoice’s web-based and mobile payroll applications and services are delivered in real time through the cloud and are flexible and scale easily as businesses grow and their needs change. Sage has hundreds of thousands of SMB customers, many of whom are increasingly experiencing payroll and compliance challenges. With this acquisition, we can now offer payroll services, such as tax filing and direct deposit, as part of our core offering. In addition, the business model synergies provide cross-sell and integration opportunities representing tremendous growth potential for growth for Sage and our partners. By working closely with you, we are uniquely positioned to win the payroll business by jointly addressing the market and delivering true value to our customers.
We are excited about the additional market opportunity that PayChoice offers and the expansive potential that payroll represents as a growing sector in the overall SMB technology market. We recognize that you will likely have some questions associated with this sale and have included a brief Q&A for your reference. Click to view.
As always, we remain committed to supporting you and are excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead. In the meantime, if you have any particular questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Sage representative.
