Sage Certified Consultant 2015 program renewal process to begin November 1, 2014
It is nearly time for Sage certified consultants (CCs) to renew 2015 Sage certifications.
This renewal process applies to certified consultants who hold competency roles for one or more of the following Sage products:
- Sage 100 ERP
- Sage 300 ERP
- Sage 500 ERP
- Sage ERP X3
- Sage CRM
- Sage BusinessWorks Accounting
- Sage BusinessVision Accounting
- Sage Fixed Assets
- Sage HRMS
To prepare you for the renewal process, we have included a renewal timeline and key information below:
Renewal timeline
- October 17, 2014: An email will be sent to the primary contact at the business partner organization with details about the renewal process and instructions.
- November 1, 2014: Renewal fee notifications will be sent to all certified consultants for the products listed above.
- November 30, 2014: Renewal fees are due.
- November 30, 2014: 2014 support cases expire. (2015 support cases will be awarded on 12/1/14 or upon payment of 2015 renewal fee, whichever is later.)
- December 31, 2014: Grace period ends, and a late fee of $200 is assessed.
- February 1, 2015: The consultant will be decertified if renewal fees are not paid.
Key renewal information
- A separate renewal fee will be assessed for each product line the consultant has certifications in and covers all competency roles for that product line.
- The consultant will need to have completed his or her required recertification exams (if required this year) and paid the renewal fee for the certification to move to a certified status for 2015.
- The renewal fee provides access to all applicable recertification requirements for each competency role during the 2015 program year.

- Consultant managers should utilize the Sage University My Team Functionality to verify that their organization’s consultant list is correct. They should notify [email protected] if there are consultants on the list who are no longer affiliated with their organization before paying any renewal fees.
Recertification requirements
- Recertification requirements commonly include training and assessments associated with a new release of the software.
- Sage added recertification requirements during the program year and provided a timeframe for consultants to complete requirements.
- Consultant certifications will expire if recertification requirements are not met.
