New enhancements are now available for Sage ERP X3 v6.5 (Patch 27)
We are excited to announce the newest updates for Sage ERP X3, the most powerful and flexible ERP solution from Sage for midsized companies. New updates are available in Sage ERP X3 Version 6.5, Patch 27:
The SAFE Client v112 is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11.
Sage ERP X3 is now certified to run on Microsoft Windows Server 2012—see the
updated hardware requirements for specific details.

Migration Services releases the Sage ERP Migrator Product Update 2 with enhancements
Sage ERP Migrator, the exclusive partner tool designed to migrate data to Sage 300 ERP, now includes a Product Update 2 with corrections and enhancements to the tool. Sage is pleased to announce the availability of Sage Fixed Assets 2014.1
The 2014.1 release includes:
- Updated version of Form 4562.
- Updated tax forms.
- Streamlined export process for reports.
- Updated limit increase for light truck and vans placed in service in 2014.
- Support for Excel format .xlsx.
It is also important to note many provisions for deductions and credits expired at the end of 2013, including:
- The 50% bonus depreciation for most property.
- The increased ceiling for Section 179. (The amount reverts back to $25,000 for 2014.)
- The special rules allowing for the expensing under Section 179 of qualifying real property.
- The accelerated methods for Indian Reservation property.
- The 15-year recovery period for qualified leasehold improvements, qualified restaurant property, and qualified retail improvement property.
- The seven-year recovery period for motorsports entertainment complexes.
- The special depreciation allowance for cellulosic biofuel plant property.
- The election to expense advanced mine safety equipment.
Congress is feeling great pressure to extend these expiring tax provisions or address them through tax reform. Sage is continuously monitoring for any fixed asset tax law changes to update the software.
