Setting up a local tax in HRMS 2012 Payroll

How to Setup a Federal/State Tax

  1. Go to Setup, Payroll, Earnings/Deductions/Taxes and click on Federal/State Tax Codes

  2. Click on Select Federal or, State Tax button and Scroll to find the desired tax code

  3. Fill in the Basic Info, Calc Base and, G/L Dist information related to the tax

    4. With the assistance of the customer's tax advisor or accountant, fill in the Calc Base information.

    Fill in the General Ledger Account information.
